athletes footAthletes foot is a common infection of the foot caused by a fungus.

This fungus thrives on a warm, moist environment and usually occurs between the toes, the skin appears inflamed and macerated and is usually very itchy.

It may also appear on the soles of the feet forming small blisters.

Wash feet daily, dry thoroughly.

Use an anti fungal spray or cream such as Daktarin or Lamasil.  Wear cotton/wool socks.
